    The place looked unloved and unkept. Poor displays with lots of dust. Broken signs. Unkept gardens. The place was in disrepair.

    Interesting place, great staff. Static exhibition need some cleaning and attention. The gift store very poor mostly generic toys not specific to timber town. Get your soviners from the town. Good port and wood gifts. Black Smith was great to watch but didn't get anything. Restaurant is closed outside of school holidays so only basic food available.

    A pity that this place is no comparison to the great memories of 30 years ago.

    Very interesting place. You can ride an old locomotive and see old cars. Buy ice cream and see how old technology works.

    Please have a look at historic Herberton in Queensland. It is something that you could learn from.

    Heritage site,Very friendly and helpful staffs, family and childrens can enjoy horse cart and steam train riding
